Can I use a low calorie diet (1200 calories a day) to lose 30 pounds quickly without significant health risks?

I lost 36 pounds over two months by reducing my calorie intake to around 1000 a day, with no side effects to my health. You seem to have things under control, if you have the will power to stick to your diet ... I didn't find it easy because I have always had a healthy appetite, so good luck!
