How to get ready of hairs down there? I have to wear a bathing suit!! HELP D:?

Okay so sorry i'm asking another question lol. I'm just super clueless and my mom and I aren't open about those things.. well i am kinda but she isn't...... Anyways I have to wear a bathing suit and my hairs down there are seriously sticking out of the bathing suit :( i shave like normally with a normal shaver but just arms legs & underarms. do i like.. cut it with scissors? if i shave it do i use shaving cream? and i need to shave a lot off i mean not all of it but still. wont it itch? what if i cut myself down there o_o... well thanks and sorry again. I don't know much about this stuff :3 (I'm 12)
