Are these good emu boots?

Hey, if they're comfortable on your feet, that is all that counts. Personally, with the weather getting warmer, I would be concerned about my feet sweating and smelling from wearing them for long periods of time, not to mention the inside of them getting damp and ripe as well. I guess, as a guy, my main concern with shoes is that they allow my tired dogs to feel as cool and comfortable as possible.
